COMMON QUESTIONS
Manage your family’s account
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
If you subscribed on the web, open Parent Dashboard → Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal. If you subscribed through iOS, use iPhone or iPad Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or visit Apple’s subscription page. We can’t cancel Apple subscriptions for you. If you need an App Store refund, request it from Apple’s report a problem page.
I already purchased on iOS. How do I restore it?
In the iOS app, open Parent Dashboard → Subscription & purchases → Restore Purchases. Sign in to the original Growing Garden parent account and the Apple Account used for the purchase, then verify your parent PIN.
How do I delete my account?
In Parent Dashboard, choose Delete account. If a parent PIN is configured, verify it, then type DELETE to confirm. Deletion is permanent and removes the household, child profiles, preferences, and conversations. Active web Stripe subscriptions are canceled when the account is deleted. Apple subscriptions must be canceled separately, even if you delete your account or remove the app.
You can also email info@growinggardenai.com from your parent account email to request deletion. Email requests are reviewed and verified before they are carried out. Limited billing, security, or legal records may remain when legally required. See account deletion details.
What if I forgot my parent PIN?
Parent Dashboard → Change PIN uses your current PIN. If you’ve forgotten it, email support from your parent account email so we can help verify your request. There is no automatic PIN reset; resetting your password does not reset your PIN.
How do I manage AI consent?
A parent can review, provide, or withdraw Gemini consent from AI consent settings. AI features that rely on Gemini are unavailable while consent is withdrawn, until consent is provided again. You can still access or delete your account.
How do safety alerts work?
Automated systems can detect possible self-harm or suicide concerns and email the parent account. The alert email does not include the child’s message text. Detection and notification are not guaranteed, and an alert to a caregiver may be suppressed when that caregiver may be an unsafe contact. These systems do not provide monitoring or emergency intervention.
If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. In the US you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Growing Garden is not an emergency service.
